No. Album Maker works without any account, login, or registration. Just open the app and start creating albums.

Yes. All your photos and albums are stored locally on your device. We collect zero data and have no servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Yes. The app is fully functional without an internet connection. Internet is only needed for iCloud Sync, for purchasing subscriptions, and to load the latest Privacy, Terms, and Support pages — those fall back to a copy built into the app when you're offline.

Free users can create up to 5 albums with 10 photos each. Premium users get unlimited albums with up to 100 photos each.

On the Albums tab, long-press the album cover and tap "Delete", or swipe left on the album.

Yes. Open the album, tap the menu (•••) button, select "Album Settings", and choose a new theme.

Open the album in Edit mode, use the page navigation arrows at the bottom to browse pages, and use the + button to add new pages.

Open the album, tap Edit, navigate to the page, and tap the "Frame" button in the toolbar. Choose from free or premium frames.

In Edit mode, tap the "Filter" button in the toolbar. Choose from filters including Sepia, B&W, Vintage, Warm, Cool, and more.

Yes. Select "No Frame" or the "Original" filter to remove them.

Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Album Maker → Cancel Subscription. Your premium features remain active until the end of the billing period.

Open Album Maker → Settings → Premium → tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with.

Yes. Lifetime gives you permanent access to all current and future premium features.

Open the album, tap the menu (•••), select "Export", then tap "Share Page as Image". You can save to Photos, AirDrop, or share via any app.

Premium feature. Go to Export → PDF Document. The PDF includes a cover page and all album pages with frames and captions.

Premium feature. Go to Export → Video Slideshow. This creates an MP4 video with smooth transitions between pages.

Premium feature. Go to Export → Full Backup. This creates a ZIP file with all original photos, thumbnails, rendered pages, and album metadata.

Premium feature. Go to Settings → iCloud Sync and toggle it on. Your albums will sync across all devices signed into your Apple ID.

Yes. It uses Apple's CloudKit with end-to-end encryption. We cannot access your synced data.

The sync database configuration is set at app launch, so changes require a restart to take effect.

Premium feature. Open the album → Album Settings → toggle "Lock Album". You can also long-press an album on the shelf and tap "Lock".

The app falls back to your device passcode automatically.

The album cover is visible with a lock icon, but the contents cannot be opened without authentication.

Try closing and reopening the app. If you have many large albums, consider clearing the export cache in Settings → Storage Management.

Make sure the photos are still in your device's photo library. If you deleted the originals, Album Maker's copies should still work, since photos are copied into the app when you add them.

Make sure you're swiping from right to left on the album page. The curl responds to finger swipe gestures.

Tap "Restore Purchases" in Settings, and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.

Go to Settings → Storage Management. You can clear the export cache and see which albums use the most space.
